I recently moved into a new house, and less than a week later, a massive storm rolled through — knocking down a huge tree, cutting power, and destroying my walkway (see below for a visual). On top of all this, I was trapped inside. Alone.

Then my phone died.

Strangely enough, this turned out to be one of the best things that’s happened to me.

At first, I felt a panic attack brewing but surprisingly… calmness took over.

I was free.

Free from TikTok drama. Free from late-night work emails. Free from chasing the next thing.

Instead of scrambling to find a way to charge my phone, I used this time to meditate and reflect on my life and money goals.

Today after reading this, I challenge you to shut off your phone and really think about these questions:

  • Have you been putting the pursuit of money above your relationships with friends and family?

  • Do you really need to rise to the top ranks of your company and make millions?

  • If you suddenly had $10M in your bank account, what would you actually do with your time?

PS — I just got a new camera and revamped my studio setup. More videos are coming soon. Stay tuned!
