Another Year, Another Dollar?
As we approach the end of the year, it's natural to reflect on our financial journey. But even more important is setting the stage for the year ahead with strategic money moves that can truly make a difference. In fact, that’s the mission of Feasible Creative – to empower you on the path to financial freedom while making smart money decisions.
With that in mind, here are 3 key money moves I’m committing to in the new year, and I encourage you to consider them as well:
Prioritize Retirement Investing: Maximizing contributions to your retirement accounts such as IRAs, 401(k)s, and 403(b)s can significantly boost your financial security. This year, I’m focused on building future compound growth by attempting to max out both my Roth IRA at $7,000 in contributions and my 401(k) at $23,500.
Maximize Credit Card Rewards: I used to fear credit cards until I learned that they can be a powerful financial tool instead of a dangerous path to debt – it’s all about how you use them. My goal this year is to optimize my usage by maximizing rewards through cashback for everyday purchases while also diving into travel rewards. If you’re interested in some top credit card options for yourself, check out our reviews here.
Set a Targeted Savings Goal: Rather than just aiming to ‘save money’, I have a specific goal I’m working towards: buying my first home. By setting a clear target with monthly contribution goals, I can stay focused and on track with my mission.
